Northumberland FA is the governing body for football across the historic county of Northumberland, Newcastle upon Tyne, and North Tyneside. Our mission is to lead, support, and develop grassroots football to ensure it's accessible, inclusive, and thriving for everyone – regardless of age, ability, or background.
We work with clubs, leagues, coaches, referees, volunteers, and players to create safe, high-quality football experiences at every level of the game. From supporting youth development to running competitions and improving facilities, we’re proud to be at the heart of the local football community.
Now based at St Peter’s Sports Hub – a new, multi-purpose home for sport in Wallsend, Newcastle – we’re entering an exciting period of growth and innovation, driven by our 2024–2028 Grassroots Strategy.
