About Us – Rising Stars Football Centre of Excellence

At Rising Stars, we are dedicated to developing the skills and talents of the most promising young football players in Arica. Our mission is to provide a professional and caring environment where aspiring players can thrive and progress toward the highest levels of the game.

We offer an elite player pathway that connects top talent with professional opportunities across Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. Through world-class training, mentorship, and exposure, we aim to prepare players not just for the next level — but for long, successful careers in football.

Our junior development programme begins at age 5 and currently runs up to the Under-16 level. Each age group is led by a dedicated Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and a specialist Goalkeeper Coach, ensuring focused development in every position.

At the heart of Rising Stars is a commitment to positive mentoring and support. Our Performance Department is focused on guiding players through their short, medium, and long-term goals within a structure built on discipline, humbleness, and respect.

Our holistic approach bridges the gap between grassroots football and elite development. Through a combination of expert coaching, individual support, and a safe, nurturing environment, Rising Stars is proud to be shaping the next generation of football talent — both on and off the pitch.

Locations: Western Cape Gauteng KZN Job Requirements – Football Scout (Ages 7–12) Proven understanding of youth football development, especially in the 7–12 age group Ability to identify technical ability, potential, attitude, and coachability in young players Strong knowledge of age-appropriate physical, psychological, and social development Excellent observation, note-taking, and reporting skills Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle Must have a clear criminal record (subject to background check) Must complete and maintain certification in our Safeguarding for Children course Willingness to work evenings, weekends , and travel to local matches and school tournaments Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly to the head of recruitment Passion for youth football and commitment to ethical talent identification
