Currently competing in the National League North, we have strong ambitions to reach the football league. Originally known as Kirkham & Wesham following a merger of Kirkham Town and Wesham in 1988, we became AFC Fylde in 2008 after winning the FA Vase.

In 2019, we became the first team to win the FA Vase and FA Trophy.
