The candidate will coach a group of young and enthusiastic goalkeepers (aged 7-14 years old), mixing technical and tactical learning with fun and enjoyable weekly sessions. The candidate should have experience coaching goalkeepers before and be comfortable working with a group of young goalkeepers.  GK Icon Academies run 50 nights of the week across the UK aiming to develop the next generation of young goalkeepers with weekly goalkeeper training. The Role: The main purpose of the job is to ensure the club provides a team to compete in league and cup competitions, or in the case of mini soccer to run a team or teams that play friendly fixtures against other clubs in the same age group. The manager/ coach will be expected to develop the abilities of players so that they achieve their maximum potential, at whatever level that might be. The Manager is responsible for all aspects of activity regarding the team, and it is expected that a team will train weekly on at least one mid-week evening during the season. The Requirements: The club requires the minimum FA qualification of the level 1 Coaching Football Award, which includes first aid and child protection, for all Team managers, and this must be renewed at the required intervals.
