Position Overview As a Youth Sports Coach, you will introduce children ages 18 months to 8 years old to the fundamentals of multiple sports, including baseball, basketball, flag football, floor hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and volleyball. Using the Kids in Sports curriculum, you will create a fun, safe, and energetic environment where kids can develop skills, build confidence, and cultivate a healthy attitude toward competition. Your Game Plan Coaching & Instruction (70%)
Assist with multi-sport and sport-specific classes.
Provide feedback and encouragement during activities.
Guide children in learning skills while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
Energy & Environment (20%)
Consistently set an energetic, enthusiastic, and positive tone.
Create an engaging environment for kids and families.
Support & Communication (10%)
Communicate effectively with caregivers, teammates, and supervisors.
