Cambridge United FC are seeking enthusiastic and committed goalkeeper-specific coaches to deliver within our Regional Goalkeeping Centre development programme for the 2021/22 season.
Our Development Goalkeeping Coaches receive training kit / equipment, full access to our bespoke syllabus in line with our Academy and additional CPD opportunities along with support from Lead Development and Academy Foundation Phase GK Coach Louis Hrebeniak.
We currently operate a team of around 10 part-time, casual coaches and are looking to add to this for the coming season due to expansion. We deliver centres in Royston (Mon), Linton (Tue), Shelford (Wed), Witchford (Thu) and Hinchingbrooke (Fri). All of these sessions take place for two hours in the evening and coaches have the choice of delivering one or more centres per week. There is also the potential for School Holiday daytime work.

Our category three Academy is an integral part of our club and our vision is driven by our youth development structure and community values. This position is for a driven individual who is enthusiastic, hardworking and possesses the skillset to work in our Elite environment. Reporting into our Head of Schoolboy Coaching and Foundation Phase Lead Coach the successful applicant will be responsible for Coaching players in our Foundation Phase in line with our Academy philosophy.
The role will include evening coaching duties which will take place on a Monday, Thursday evening, alternate Saturday’s, and games programme games on Sundays leading our U11's age group within our Foundation Phase.
To ensure the Academy Philosophies and Values are adhered to by coaches, players and parents within the Foundation Phase.
