Accrington Stanley Football Club have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to join the club as Deputy Groundsperson. The Deputy Groundsperson will work alongside the Head Groundsman in maintaining and preparing playing surfaces and surrounding areas of the Wham Stadium to an exceptional standard. Emphasis will principally be on the day-to-day preparation of the pitch and duties will also include the maintenance of all subsidiary areas across the stadium and surrounding perimeter areas. Reporting directly to the Head Groundsman, candidates must hold a minimum of at least one years' experience in a similar role and have a NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf and be confident in using their own initiative to carry out the relevant duties within this role to support the Head Groundsman.
