Main goal The EURO Sustainability Coordinator plays a key part in delivering the UEFA EURO 2028 environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy, with responsibility for operational planning and strategy implementation across tournament stadiums. The role contributes directly to ensuring operational excellence for UEFA EURO 2028, one of Europe’s largest sporting events. The Sustainability Coordinator is responsible for embedding ESG requirements into event operations, with a strong focus on delivering an accessible fan journey, supporting accessible ticket holders, coordinating diversity and inclusion measures, and developing and preparing the training for the on-site sustainability event workforce. Working in close coordination with internal UEFA teams, host stakeholders and delivery partners, the role supports the creation of a best-in-class and inclusive event experience for all participants throughout the tournament life cycle.
