Adelaide United Football Club
Adelaide SA, Australia
Adelaide United has a partnership with Flinders University that includes placements for a small number of students. As these opportunities arise they will be circulated to applicable students via the relevant faculty officers.
Adelaide United receive an overwhelming amount of work experience requests from enthusiastic students wishing to undertake work experience with us. At this stage we do not have a high school work experience program and we are unable to provide work experience placements to high school students.
Research Project, School and University Assignments
Unfortunately we are unable to provide assistance for research projects, school and university assignments to interviews with staff, players, coaches etc. This is due to the high volume of requests we receive to complete surveys and questionaries. We do not have the resources to reply to everyone and it would be unfair to reply to some and not to others.

The goal is to give young men aged 16-18 who just fall short of the physical, emotional, social or economical standard, you often find at top level academies, a chance to sign a professional contract. We aim to provide these young men with the opportunity to be taught by uefa licensed coaches and a chance to play in front of top level academy coaches and scouts on a weekly basis. What sets us apart is that we are also going to teach these young men how to conduct themselves in a professional workplace giving them the skills to become leaders, innovators and hardworking employees or even employers. Ultimately preventing them from turning to the streets or other detrimental avenues.

Celtic Football Club offers a rewarding and comprehensive work experience programme for school pupils aged 14-16, where pupils have the opportunity to spend one week at the stadium, shadowing different areas of the Club. The placement provides an insight into the various roles that exist at Celtic, and offers young people the opportunity to understand the different departments and functions necessary for a football club to operate.
At Celtic, we understand the importance and value of work experience, and the opportunities that this creates for learning and development. Our programme allows young people to develop transferable skills and improve their employability within a safe and supportive learning environment.
Please note that due to the high number of requests that we receive, we cannot guarantee a placement to every individual that applies.
