Main Responsibilities and Activities
1. Training • Implementation of Academy coaching syllabus • Facilitation of all squad training sessions • Ensure access to specialist coaching as required 2. Matches • Prepare squad for participation in matches every weekend • Select a team to play the match • Coach team throughout the match • Facilitation of match day requirements including kit 3. Sports Science • Ensure delivery of Sports Science programme through Academy Head of Sports Science and interns 4. Medical • Ensure full compliance with Academy Medical policy is relevant to your squad • Liaise with Academy Physiotherapist with regards to appointments to treat players • Follow Physiotherapist’s advice with regards to injured players, and return to play 5.
