Working within the Buying and Merchandising team, the assistant buyer would be responsible for ensuring sample management, supplier communications and administrative activities are actioned on a daily basis.
Key accountabilities will include:
Responsible for the placing and updating of Purchase Orders (POs) and all supporting information to be sent to suppliers within deadlines
Responsible for maintaining information, ensuring it is up to date and accurate in relation to the critical path
Responsible for the administrative communication with suppliers
Responsible for updating delivery information
Progression toward taking responsibility for own product areas
Providing full administrative support to the buying team on Ad hoc duties as required.
Provide holiday cover for assistant merchandiser
