JOB TITLE:  Senior Coordinator, Operations

REPORTING TO: VP, Operations and Match Day Security

DEPARTMENT: Operations

LOCATION: New York, NY

The Sr. Coordinator, Operations will be the main lead for credentials and parking for all NYCFC matches.  In addition, the position will support with matchday operations for New York City FC II matches.  This position will work closely within the Operations team in running, developing, and implementing game day protocol and evaluating best practices for NYCFC matches. This position will interface with departments across the organization along with external operation contacts. 

 

·       Event Lead for NYCFC II Matches 

·       Event Lead for US Open Cup matches

·       Oversee credential management for all New York City FC matches

·       Assist with parking inventory management and distribution

·       Manage signage creation and installation at events

·       Assist with all event documentation and all agency preparation

·       Supervise match day roles of logistics crew

·       Help manage supporters on matchday 

·       Traveling liaison of NYCFC supporters during certain road matches

·       Support pre match ceremonies and game presentation 

·       Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops and seminars

·       Other duties as assigned

·       Ideal candidate has Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management or related field 

·       2-4 years of experience in event management 

·       Experience showing professionalism expected around professional sports teams

·       Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions

·       High level of organization and attention to detail

·       Strong communication and organizational skills

·       Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary

·       Some travel required

This exempt position has an estimated annual base salary range of $60,000 – $ 64,500 and is not overtime eligible. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise.
