The German Football Association (DFB) is the association of the state associations, regional associations and the league association in which football is practiced. The position is initially limited to two years.
The talent promotion program started with the 2002/2003 season and has since firmly established itself as the first stage of talent promotion in German football. The project, which currently has 366 bases, effectively forms the bridge between the committed and indispensable youth work at the club base and the second stage of talent development, the performance centers and elite schools of football. The base coordinators (m / f / d) form the interface between the German Football Association (DFB), the state associations and the bases in the talent promotion program.
