Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is an English Premier League Club, based in North London.

 

Led by the late great Bill Nicholson, the Club became the first in England to win the League and FA Cup Double in 1961, and the first in the UK to win a European Trophy two years later. JOB PURPOSE

The Club is seeking a Head of Video Production to be responsible for the end-to-end content video creation and production processes. The successful candidate will lead a team of internal producers and external contributors who create a variety of video formats, including short form vertical content, mid-form features and live production.
Reporting to the Media Director, the role will be instrumental in developing engaging and innovative content for our fans and our partners; and will fuel our owned and operated and social media platforms. We’re looking for a digital creative mind who can drive the ideation workflow, be responsible for the execution and take our production standards to another level.  Because of the nature of football, the role may require out of hours working commitments to support specific events.

 

         

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all aspects of the production of multi-format original content video, with a strong emphasis on creative and innovation.
  • Ultimate responsibility for the creative process, production and delivery of the Club’s video content.
  • Lead teams and manage creative producers to bring ideas to life.
  • Be responsible for driving excellence in execution and delivery.
  • Run multiple projects simultaneously, negotiate and handle budgets while delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Innovate and maximise the Club’s production facilities and resource at The Clubhouse and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
  • Be the face of video production to internal departments and external partners.
  • Collaborate with the social media and editorial teams to develop engaging formats and with the commercial team to create best in class branded content for our partners.
  • Work with media sales to create and produce saleable assets.
  • Cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure that we’re delivering against requests.
  • Keep up with the evolving landscape of available tools, resources and technologies, with a particular focus on AI.
  • Continually share industry best practices and new developments to educate and inspire relevant teams.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience as an Executive Producer in a creative and digital environment: Media, Sport or Entertainment industries.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment and producing content consumed by millions of fans.
  • Experience directly leading and developing a team.
  • Ability articulating creative intent to others and proactively coordinating with partners to bring ideas to life.
  • Experience managing a team of producers, balancing high volume video formats and maintaining budgets across multiple projects.
  • Have an established network of best-in-class live and digital producers, and creative agencies.
  • A strong knowledge with creative planning and effective resource management.
  • Deep understanding of integrated production (workflows, tools) with a strong focus on video and social media creatives.
  • Established network of creative, production, digital and solutions partners.
  • Ability to handle budgets, negotiate costs efficiently with third party vendors and track spend.
