Job Title: Partnerships Lead - Women's Team (12-month FTC)

Department: Commercial - Women's Team

Job Function: Deliver world-class management, activation and servicing of all CFCW partnerships including maintaining excellent client relationships, delivering against business objectives, and ensuring all contractual expectations are met.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Oversee the Partnership Servicing Department for CFCW, including development of long-term partnership activation strategies for each partner which meet both the brands’ needs and wider growth objectives for CFCW.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Partnerships for the Club to ensure alignment for all Club partners with access to CFCW IP and support in developing strategies and activations across those Club partnerships which align with broader CFCW strategy.
  • Lead and oversee season planning, organisation, and delivery of a variety of partner activations from live events to digital marketing campaigns; ensuring each asset is measured effectively and aligns with overall partnership objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing strategic guidance on rights usage and marketing activations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners by regularly meeting with senior stakeholders and creating opportunities to network and get to know their business.
  • Lead on renewal negotiations with partners supported by the Commercial Director.
  • Collaborate with the wider CFCW commercial function to support in identifying upsell opportunities to drive growth, value and new opportunities across partner accounts. Also supporting the Commercial Director on new business pitches in terms of ideation and development of heads of terms.
  • Provide line management to the CFCW partnership manager and support for the wider CFCW commercial and marketing teams to ensure effective delivery of all contractual obligations.
  • Work with club’s insights department and utilise evaluation tools to track partner return on investment and extract insights to advise partners on best use of contractual assets.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all internal stakeholders to ensure partners are successfully integrated across the Club, including partner integration into club marketing campaigns, events, pre-season tours, CSR projects and player ambassadors.

 

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Extensive experience within the sponsorship/sports marketing industry
  • Experience of working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and proven success at building and maintaining excellent working relationships with these stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of digital rights and how digital channels can be used to leverage commercial objectives.
  • Thorough understanding of women’s sport and the broader women’s commercial landscape.
  • Experience in measuring and articulating ROI and sponsorship performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident presenter to lead meetings and pitches
  • A proven team player who is calm, professional, works well under pressure and is diligent and detail orientated
  • Willing to work between locations and to be flexible with working hours (including working weekends and international travel)
