JOB TITLE: Full Stack Web Developer

LOCATION: Flexible (Stamford Bridge Onsite/ Hybrid or Fully Remote)

CONTRACT: Full time, permanent Role

 

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a versatile Full Stack Web Developer to build and scale high-impact web applications that drive decision-making in professional football. In this role, you’ll develop interactive visualizations, dashboards, and decision-making tools directly impacting football operations, recruitment, performance analysis, and club-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the entire tech stack—from backend data services to front-end user interfaces—and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications to support football operations, recruitment, and performance analysis.
  • Work closely with football analytics experts to design web-based user experiences to boost the adoption of data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and data visualization tools to enhance decision-making.
  • Implement secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-based web applications.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications across multiple devices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest web development technologies and best practices.

 

What you will bring to the role

  • Ideally a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in full stack web development.
  • Strong front-end development expertise, with experience building responsive, high-performance web applications.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, with a focus on creating interactive user interfaces.
  • Proficiency in CSS, with experience developing flexible, maintainable, and visually appealing UI components.
  • Comfortable working on the backend, with experience in Python or JavaScript frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, API design, and authentication protocols.
