Job Description
Virginia Beach United Soccer is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Game Day Assistant to support the execution of matchday operations. This role involves working closely with event operations personnel to ensure all aspects of game day run smoothly. Responsibilities include assisting with field setup and breakdown, greeting teams and referees, overseeing game-day logistics, and providing assistance to ensure a successful event.

- Field Setup & Breakdown: Assist in preparing the playing field before games, including goals, benches, signage, and any necessary equipment. Ensure proper breakdown and cleanup post-game.
- Team & Referee Coordination: Welcome and direct teams, referees, and staff upon arrival. Provide necessary information regarding field assignments, locker rooms, and game schedules.
- Game Day Operations: Assist in overseeing all operational aspects during games, ensuring a smooth experience for players, coaches, referees, and spectators.
- Troubleshooting & Assistance: Address any logistical or operational issues that arise, providing support to teams, referees, and staff as needed.
- Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with event operations personnel to execute game-day plans efficiently.
- Facility & Equipment Management: Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and facilities are maintained throughout the event.
