Job Description:
Juventus Academy Tanzania is seeking a young, passionate, and dynamic Senior Football Coach to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work with children and young athletes aged 3 to 17 years, helping to develop their football skills and instill a love for the game. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating football coaching sessions that align with Juventus Academy's world-class training philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead coaching sessions for age groups from 3 to 17 years old, focusing on player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Design and implement age-appropriate training programs tailored to varying skill levels (from beginner to advanced).
- Provide individual and group instruction to help young athletes improve their technical, tactical, and physical skills.
- Monitor the progress of players and provide constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with local and international coaches to uphold Juventus Academy’s coaching standards.
- Develop a professional relationship with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of player progress and academy activities.
- Assist in organizing and running camps, matches, tournaments, and special events.
- Ensure a fun, safe, and educational environment for all players during training sessions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- FA or UEFA coaching qualification is highly preferred.
- International coaching experience, especially with youth players, is an advantage.
- Must have experience coaching multiple age groups (3-17 years).
- A strong passion for coaching and working with children.
- Willingness to relocate to Tanzania for the duration of the contract (min. 2 years).
- Ability to adapt to different cultures and environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
- Experience with grassroots and elite football programs is highly desirable.
