About Us:

Berwick Rangers Football Club are famous as the English club which play in the Scottish League and enjoy a place in history with their famous 1967 Scottish Cup victory over Glasgow Rangers which is still widely renowned as one of the greatest ever cup shocks.

Based in the beautiful and historic town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed in Northumberland we have called Shielfield Park (which has a capacity of 4000) home since the early 50’s.

Our team currently play in the Lowland League, the fifth tier of Scottish football, and were the only club from outside Scotland in the Scottish Professional Football League until our relegation in 2019.

First Team Scout

This is a volunteer role ideal for someone with a keen eye for talent and a deep understanding of Scottish football looking to start their career in the football industry.


Role Description:

As a First Team Scout, you will:
- Identify and evaluate players across the SPFL, Lowland & EOSFL
- Monitor and report on potential players to the recruitment and management teams.
- Attend live fixtures and provide comprehensive scouting reports.

Qualifications:

- Scouting qualifications are a plus but are not essential.
- In-depth knowledge of Scottish league players.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
- A full driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable.
