Job Description

Reporting organisationally to the Head of Commercial Rights Delivery, the F&B Concessions Operations Manager will coordinate the development and performance of the Food & Beverage Concessionaire program between various Stakeholders including stadium appointed F&B Concessionaire and FIFA Commercial Partners. The objective is to implement and deliver successfully the FIFA Commercial Partners’ exclusive F&B rights. 

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities of the F&B Concessions Operations Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include: 

  • Management of the Commercial Partner product(s) and service(s) integration in the FIFA Public Food & Beverage concessionaire program.
  • Working with food and beverage service provider (F&B Concessionaire) on execution of services in the frame of FIFA Public Food & Beverage Concessionaire Program across the official Venues. 
  • Working with stadium officials, other parties and stakeholders involved in stadium permanent and temporary infrastructure preparation. 
  • Working with signage team on installation of signage elements for all aspects of the FIFA Public Food & Beverage Concessionaire Program in the stadium.
  • Plan and oversee the operational implementation and delivery of the Commercial Partners’ F&B agreements. 
  • Work with stadium concessionaires, stadium Authorities, and other functional areas to plan and deliver the rights and obligations of the Commercial Partners.  
  • Together with the team, coordinate and deliver all stadium inspections, Commercial Partners operational visits, understanding the commercial requirements in the F&B concessions operations.  
  • Manage the implementation of clean site and Commercial Partners exclusivity in the concessions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations throughout the event operation delivery process. 
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, guidelines, and presentations on F&B delivery progress, highlighting key achievements, challenges.
  • Prepare tournament debrief reports and recommendations for future events. 
  • Any other duties that may be required.


YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education 
  • Minimum of ~5 years of work experience in the food & beverage/catering industry,
  • Experience in food & beverage concessions / fast-food outlets operational management as well as 
  • Proven track-record in operational management within the frame of large public / sport events
  • Experience in project infrastructure management
  • Ability to adopt a strategic view, take decisions, and act promptly, 
  • Ability to operate in a high pressure and fast paced environment,
  • Innovator and added-value approaches towards rights delivery.
  • Knowledge of public event Food & Beverage industry especially related to sporting events.
  • Knowledge in the dressing & signage area. 
  • Knowledge of basic utilities requirements, especially for food & beverage concessions (electricity, water supply, etc).
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygienic requirements for food & beverage concessions operation.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
