Job Description

Reporting organisationally to Senior Manager Technology Service Delivery, the Readiness/Training Supervisor will be a key member of the FIFA26 Technology team, and work in close collaboration with the Technology teams based in Canada, Mexico and Zurich and other key individuals responsible for ensuring that employees are adequately prepared and trained to use new and existing technologies effectively required for the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026™. This role involves developing and implementing training programs, assessing technology readiness, and collaborating with various departments to support technological adoption and proficiency.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Readiness/Training Supervisor for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
  • Develop and implement technology training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Develop and implement key technical rehearsal exercises across the full tournament footprint and including all technology stakeholders
  • Assess technology readiness and identify training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers.
  • Create and update training materials, manuals, and documentation related to technology use (SOPs and KBs).
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars on new and existing technologies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain training records and track employee progress in technology proficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure training aligns with technological goals and initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in training and development.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees to enhance their technological skills and career development.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to technology use. 

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Qualifications
  • University degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • Proven experience in technology training and development, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of technology training methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using training software and tools.
  Work Experience
  • A minimum experience of 8 years overall IT experience and minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful technology training programs.
  • Experience with assessing technology readiness and identifying training needs.
  • Hands-on experience with training software and tools, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience in collaborating with IT and other departments to support technological adoption and proficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and adjust training programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
  Languages
  • Fluent in English 
  • Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
  Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
