Position Description  
  
The Coaching Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the technical objectives and operational aspects of U.S. Soccer’s Coaching Education Program. The position is operational, but does require a strong understanding of soccer and a familiarity with coaching. In addition to the operational duties listed, the position will also provide support to the department’s technical staff, as needed. 
 
To perform the primary duties and functions, this position requires someone highly organized and detail-oriented. The individual is expected to proactively contribute across multiple areas of the department. This position is responsible for exhibiting a high degree of professionalism, maintaining a customer service mentality, and communicating consistently and transparently with U.S. Soccer’s membership. 
 
 Primary Responsibilities  
  • Support the day-to-day operations of coaching education and development programs, including course setup, documentation management, and maintaining accurate course data
  • Track and analyze key operational metrics, including survey feedback, Learning Center compliance by student coaches, and course engagement trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure course calendars remain up to date and assist in scheduling, logistics, and coordination of coaching education programs
  • Provide high-quality customer service and technical support to coaches, educators, and administrators, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and issues
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with U.S. Soccer members, offering training, guidance, and ongoing support to enhance their experience with coaching education platforms and programs
  • Assist in planning and executing educational courses and events, ensuring smooth operations, logistics, and adherence to quality standards
  • Manage and maintain course curriculums and educational resources within U.S. Soccer’s Learning Management System (LMS) and internal repositories, ensuring consistency and accessibility
  • Support and oversee digital assets related to coaching education, ensuring alignment with branding, quality standards, and instructional best practices
  • Collaborate with Operations and Technical teams to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned contributing to the overall success of U.S. Soccer’s coaching education and development initiatives
 
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline 
  • Strong familiarity with U.S. Soccer programming; comprehension of Coach Education is a plus 
  • Must have a passion for the sport 
  • Strong interpersonal, consensus-building skills, with the ability to communicate and achieve results across multiple audiences in a complex organizational structure
  • Adept at building presentations to communicate ideas, e.g. Keynote, PowerPoint, InDesign
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Dedication to the highest level of standards and excellence
  • Able to work independently 
  • Proficient knowledge of Spanish-language skills is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe programs
  • Weekend and holiday work required at times
  • Some travel may be required
  • General knowledge of soccer 
  • Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments 
  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission 
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
