Sports Therapist (Fixed Term – Until May 2025)

Salary: 11.44ph

Hours: 20h a week

Role Overview: You will be responsible for assisting with the effective treatment and rehabilitation of all First Team players at AFC Fylde. This role includes providing soft tissue treatment and overseeing gym-based and pitch-based rehabilitation sessions.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting in the provision and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and medical care for all First Team players.
• Providing soft tissue therapy services for all available injured players.
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and liaising with players to ensure complete medical services are provided to an elite standard.
• Communicating injury status and return-to-play strategies to the Head of Medical.
• Travelling to provide matchday support.
• Supporting the management of First Team player welfare in consultation with the Head of Medical.
• Maintaining secure medical records and ensuring the completion of all appropriate paperwork/electronic records.

About you:

• Valid HCPC or SST Registration.
• BSc in Sports Therapy or Physiotherapy.
• Previous experience working within football.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Honest and demonstrates high standards of personal conduct.
• Values and respects colleagues and other members of staff.
• CRC and Safeguarding.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
