Wage: £10.00-15.00 per hour
Hours: Part Time during school holidays (term time opportunities may also be available)

Move More are looking to recruit enthusiastic sports and activity coaches to work with children aged 4-12 across our holiday camp provision. Move More Camps offer a wide range of activities for children to participate in including: football, racket sports, team games, dodgeball, arts & crafts, games & Lego and much more.
The role is to ensure the welfare and safety of the children on camp, and to deliver outstanding sports, physical activity, play and creative activities to children.
Job Description
Main Duties
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the camp.
- Plan, organise and deliver high quality activities.
- Supervise and care for children in line with Move More's health & safety and Child Protection & Safeguarding policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues and children's' parents and carers where appropriate.
- Other ad-hoc duties (e.g., cleaning, equipment maintenance etc).
- To manage the daily administration associated with running the camp, i.e. registration, medical forms, incident forms etc (camp leaders).
- To lead the camp and manage the camp including the direction and management of other staff members (camp leaders).
Essential Requirements
- Passionate about working with children.
- Experience of working with children.
- Experience of working across a range of different sports and physical activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that can be adapted to best suit a range of needs and audiences.
- To be flexible, creative and innovative in overcoming challenges.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- An ability to work in partnership, delivering high quality services that are flexible and responsive to need and change.
- The ability to demonstrate the desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life-chances of children.
Desirable Requirements
- A confident and proficient sports coach across different sports/activities.
- Knowledge of disability sport and inclusion strategies to promote the involvement in physical activity, PE and sport to all.
- A NGB Coaching Qualification.
- A sports related degree or teaching qualification.
- Possible courses attended e.g. Safeguarding & Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid.
- Evidence of professional development relevant to the role.
