POSITION OVERVIEW:
Carolina Core FC is an independent MLS Next Pro club based in High Point, NC. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Game Day Operations Interns. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring the success of our home games by supporting the execution of game-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the sports industry and to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidates will assist in planning, executing, and evaluating game day operations to create a memorable experience for players, staff, and fans alike.

The ideal candidates will assist in planning, executing, and evaluating game day operations to create a memorable experience for players, staff, and fans alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with game-day setup and breakdown, including signage, equipment, and operational materials.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., ticketing, marketing, and facilities) to ensure all game day logistics are executed seamlessly.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth execution of pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities.
- Support the operations team in managing on-field and in-stadium activations, such as halftime shows and sponsor promotions.
- Act as a point of contact for vendors, volunteers, and event staff on game days.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and stadium guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service to fans, sponsors, and partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure a seamless game-day experience.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the game schedule.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, be on your feet for extended periods and work outdoors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for sports.
