Job Description

The Hive London is actively looking to add a Site Operations Manager to manage the successful and efficient day to day operation of the overall site You will work alongside a dedicated grounds team bringing expertise, a strong work ethic and a passion for high-quality grounds management.

The primary objectives for the Operations Manager will be to manage the overall day-to-day operations across multiple operations teams on site ensuring the highest possible standards of Health and Safety and customer service standards at The Hive.

This is a great opportunity for a high calibre Area Manager/Multi Site manager/Project Manager/Operations Manager who has experience of hands on management on a large scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the entire site ensuring that the highest levels of customer service and safety are achieved
  • Staff appraisals and mentoring.
  • Ensuring all compliance and health and safety standards are meet and maintained.
  • Lead on areas such as increasing activity and ensure all programming is working effectively
  • Be both a role model for the team and to make the entire site a fun and friendly environment to both colleagues and customers alike
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a good understanding of IT

YOU ARE:

A self-motivated high performing manager who can clearly demonstrate delivering exceptional service supporting health and safety and driving operational excellence whilst supporting the development of the entire site. Your experience of monitoring the performance and productivity of large teams, providing coaching, training and feedback to improve performance clearly shines through.

It is key that you have experience managing budgets, forecasting and allocating resources to help meet business and strategic goal and working cross-departmentally with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that all operations are aligned with organisational objectives

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven multi-site management experience managing diverse/multifunctional teams in a service led facility, ideally in retail, hospitality, leisure, or hotels - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of duty management responsibilities – desirable
  • Experience of financial planning and management.
  • Lead core operational functions to achieve peak performance and sustainability.
  • Drive departmental transformation for improved scalability and process efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop team leaders to enhance their capabilities and output.
  • Analytical mindset with effective communication and relationship-building skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on innovation.
