THIS IS A PAID ROLE.
We are looking for talented and creative Freelance Video Editors to join our production team. The ideal candidates will have a background in video editing and a genuine interest in sports.
Tasks
• Edit and produce high-quality long form videos that incorporate live action, found footage and images.
• Source, select and import suitable media elements (videos, images, audio)
• Work closely with the creator and the production team to ensure all video content is accurate, informative and engaging
• Implement sound design on edits
• Ensure use of rights cleared assets.
• Manage and organise video footage, assets and archives
• Stay up-to-date with video editing software and techniques
Requirements
•experience in video editing and accompanying showreel, with an emphasis on digital content creation and experience with YouTube
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut & Creative Cloud
• Excellent video documentary storytelling skills
• strong understanding of YouTube and other social media platforms and how to optimise content for those platforms would be beneficial
• A passion for sports with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience
• Experience in sound design, with the ability to integrate audio elements into video projects is essential
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Previous experience editing documentaries will be considered an advantage
