Job Description

Brent Cross Football Academy is a growing community football club with a number of teams and development squads.

We are looking for enthusiastic, engaging coaches who are looking to develop and be a part of an ambitious and driven environment. This is perfect for anyone who is passionate about football and wants to take that passion to the next level.

THE ROLE:

The training sessions are based at Whitefield School NW2 1TR on Tuesdays 5-7pm and on Saturday mornings 9-11ams. You will be coaching children between the ages of 3-12 years and will require to have a valid DBS certificate. Coaches will be given kit and equipment that they are required to take home and look after.

You must be reliable, punctual, enthusiastic and ideally have experience of working with children's football teams.

Duties & Responsibilities of our coaches:

  • Deliver challenging, realistic & fun sessions aimed at players of all abilities.
  • Create a positive learning environment.
  • Deliver the sessions to a high standard consistently.
  • To understand players needs at the correct times, and to ensure each individual is being challenged to reach their potential.
  • Deal with any first aid/emergency situation.
  • Approachable in liaising with parent/carers.
  • To be committed to ensuring the session is delivered to the best of their ability.
  • Thinking of creative ways to make our sessions better for the benefit of our players.

All applicants MUST be:

  • FA Level 1 Football Coaching Qualification (Ideally Level 2 Football Coach)
  • 1 to 2 years+ coaching experience at a grassroots level or beyond.
  • Clean & Valid DBS
  • FA Emergency Aid Certificate
  • FA Safeguarding Certificate
  • Good communicator
  • Work well with children
  • Own Transport

Depending on experience and qualifications coaches will be paid between £15-20 per hour.
