We are hiring a role as Marketing & Communitations Manager to join our offices in South Africa.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

COMMS & Digital 

  • Manage and coordinate LL SA media activity.
  • In coordination with HQ, provide insight, manage and oversee activities of comms agency.
  • Manage all comms activation activities related to partners.
  • Proactive in proposing digital activations.

 

Account Management

  • Manage of marketing and media relationship in the interest of capitalizing on opportunities with partners.
  • Liaise with HQ marketing department with the objective of properly deploying partner assets.
  • Proactive in proposing activations projects to partners.
  • Relationship management and support in activation with partners.
  • Assist in events planning & communication with partners.
  • Strengthen partner loyalty.

 

Activations/Events 

  • Realization of activation calendar in coordination with commercial manager with the objective of engaging with fans, sponsors and attract local brands.
  • Proactive in offering activation projects/ideas.
  • Event measurement and KPIs.
  • Realization of activation deployment timelines.
  • Weekly reports of activities & Activations. 
  • Organization / attendance of networking / industry events.

 

Key Projects 

  • Oversee the deployment of key projects.
  • Prospecting and onboarding of partners for key projects.
  • Oversee communication strategy proposed by PR Agency.

 

Reports / Presentation

  • Elaboration of market insight/trend reports.
  • Elaboration of activation and impact reports.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Marketing/Business Administration Degree. Any education in sports industry will be highly valued.
  • Proven experience in the same region (South Africa) and regional/local contacts with commercial agencies and brands. 
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing/account management roles.
  • Knowledge of digital environment.
  • High level of Power Point and proven experience in presentation decks. 
  • English Proficiency; Native or Advanced. 
  • Proficient in Spanish would be an advantage.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at a professional level in English.
    • Strong understanding of cultural and business nuances across various markets.
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills (data, business trends, sponsorship case studies, etc.).
    • Creativity and flexibility to achieve business objectives.
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. 
    • Able to work independently but also collaboratively.
    • Highly self-motivated.
