Technical Coach, Recreational Program - North Mississauga Soccer Club

Position Overview:
The North Mississauga Soccer Club (NMSC) is a National Youth Licensed Club in Canada, dedicated to the development of well-rounded, successful soccer players at the recreational, competitive, and high-performance levels.

The NMSC is seeking a motivated Technical Coach to support our recreational players and help deliver an outstanding recreational program. This coaching position will be responsible for leading training sessions and games for U3-U11 (Summer Outdoor Program).

Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct training sessions and coach recreational league games
● Follow weekly session plans provided by the club for all sessions delivered
● Set up and tear down elds prior and after sessions
● Distribute uniforms on eld at the beginning of each season Orientation Day
● responsible for the safety and welfare of all players under your supervision
● Uphold Club’s Policies, Procedures, Social Media, Child Protection and any Club Rules and Regulations and uphold the Player, Parent and Coaching Standards
● Coordinate end of season events and distribute player awards

Qualications:
● Achieved Canada Soccer Grassroots Education Certication (U3-U6- Active Start, U7-U8- Fundamentals)
● Completed Respect in Soccer, Making Headway and Making Ethical Decisions Courses
● Prior experience working with children and youth is preferred
● Strong leadership skills
● Growth mindset and willingness to learn
● Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
