Job Description

Overview: The MLS NEXT Head Coach will be assigned a team at the 13U, 14U, or 15U age group and will assist with the strategic goals of CCFC Academy within the MLS NEXT platform, ensuring alignment with the club's mission, vision, and values. This role reports directly to the CCFC MLS NEXT Director and requires effective communication and collaboration. The MLS NEXT Coach will execute the strategic goals of CCFC Academy in a manner consistent with the club's mission, vision, and values. Communication and collaboration are vital in this role. Roles & Responsibilities: 

· Serve as Head Coach for one CCFC Academy team. 

· Provide daily implementation of player development philosophy, teaching methodologies, curriculum & processes aligned with the CCFC Academy MLS NEXT program. 

· Plan and lead high-quality training sessions that focus on skill development, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning related to periodization plans. 

· Relate daily to CCFC Academy Directors and administrators to lead & support in developing the team environment. 

· Observe & evaluate sessions to enhance opportunities for growth & ensure implementation of the CCFC Academy player development philosophy. 

· Collaborate with the CCFC Academy MLS NEXT Director to identify and evaluate new program prospects. 

· Communicate & network with current/previous club members and other soccer club directors to ensure the club is represented to the highest standards nationally. 

· Oversee the successful implementation of all supplemental elements of the CCFC Academy MLS NEXT program including but not limited to: Video analysis, Individual Player Plans, Sports Performance, Mental Fitness, Nutrition, Leadership. 

· Represent the Club at functions, meetings & events as directed by the CCFC Academy Director. 

· Provide constructive feedback to players to help them improve their technical abilities, decision-making skills, and overall performance. 

· Foster a positive and supportive team environment that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork. 

· Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other staff members to ensure transparency and clarity regarding team expectations, schedules, and progress. 

 Preferred Qualifications & Experience: 

· 4 years coaching. 

· USSF B license; USSF Academy Director/DOC, and/or comparable licenses. 

· Elite Youth Level or College Level Coaching experience.
