Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a dedicated Manager, Adult Soccer to join our team! The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our adult soccer business, including managing all Chicago Fire Rec Soccer (CFRS) programs and partnerships. The Manager will be responsible for inspiring staff to grow participation and revenue, while maintaining high standards of customer service, administration, and communication. The Manager will play a leading role in increasing Chicago Fire adult programming across Chicagoland while elevating our program experience and creating deeper connections between CFRS players and Chicago Fire FC.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all elements of Chicago Fire Rec Soccer (CFRS) programs at the Fire Pitch, including leagues, tournaments, and pick-ups
  • Inspire staff to meet seasonal participation and revenue goals
  • Execute program administration and operations to maintain high standards of customer service, safety, and quality
  • Implement new programs across Chicagoland to grow participation and generate new revenue streams
  • Manage new and existing partnerships with key adult/community soccer stakeholders
  • Implement a comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy to reach new players, while creating meaningful connections with club partners, fans, and wider soccer community
  • Other duties as assigned
  
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of youth/adult soccer experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of management experience
  • Ability to work in a team/collaborative work environment is required along with strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and planning skills
  • Ability to coach, train and motivate team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ticketing software and in database usage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, or a related field
  • Spanish language fluency
  • Previous experience selling or marketing for youth organization
