Casual Matchday Logistics Assistants

As the Club continues through the 24/25 season, we are looking to recruit a number of Casual Logistics Assistants to join the Matchday Safety team at the King Power Stadium.

Each home fixture, the Matchday Safety Team welcome over 400 staff to King Power Stadium. Our Logistics Assistants ensure the smooth operation of the Stewards Room, ensuring all staff entering site are equipped with the kit and devices necessary to conduct their duties. You’ll act as an ambassador for the Club ensuring that we provide a safe and enjoyable experience for supporters, visitors and colleagues alike.

Who We Are Looking For

This is a fantastic opportunity to support LCFC in a “hands-on” way!

Ideal candidates for this role should be friendly and confident when dealing with members of the public; first class communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The Club is looking for team players who are fan and customer focused – we want to deliver the best matchday experience for all visitors to the King Power Stadium. 

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience working in roles related to crowd management, safety or security
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with high-pressure situations
  • Be skilled in conflict resolution activities
  • High levels of vigilance and awareness

Some things to note:

  • It’s a requirement of the role for postholders to be over the age of 18.
  • Successful candidates will be supported by the Club to obtain their Level 2 in Spectator Safety, so should be committed to achieving this qualification.
  • As a casual role, the work offered to you will be varied and flexible depending on the scheduling of matchdays and events. These offers of work cover weekends, evenings and public holidays.
  • As a casual worker, there is no obligation for you to accept work assignments when offered, nor for the Club to guarantee you work.

Pay – £12 per hour

Hours Per Week – Variable, not guaranteed
