Job Description

Volunteering at QPR

At QPR Community Trust, we are always excited to hear from individuals who would like to volunteer their time to support the great work that we do.

As a Trust, we work with thousands of participants each week - from our youngest players taking their first kick of a football, up to our oldest participants who are still going strong in their 90's. Here are some examples of the work we do:

  • QPR Trust Inclusive Programme. Working with participants with variety of learning and physical disabilities.
  • Extra-Time Club. Weekly sessions for over 60's that take place in White City and Stonebridge.
  • Match Days and Community Events. These run throughout the year and there are typically a variety of different events to help out with each month.
  • Weekly Soccer Schools and Holiday Camps. Football coaching for ages 5-15years old
  • Advanced Development Programme. Working with the more talented footballers in the community. Ages from 7-16yrs old at a variety of venues across West London
  • Health & Wellbeing. We deliver a variety of sessions each week aimed at increasing awareness of physical and mental health.
  • Youth work / mentoring. Our Youth & Communities Department work with a truly diverse group of individuals each week. The type of work we do includes, 1:1 mentoring / working in prisons / supporting local refugees / working with hard to reach young people.
  • Marketing and Communications.
  • Corporate fundraising support

If you have a passion for supporting the local community or an interest in a particular project that we deliver, we want to hear from you!

Our volunteer programme is tailored to you and your schedule. The type of work we have available includes:

Football Coaching:

This type of volunteering would suit new aspiring coaches as well as experienced coaches looking to give back to their communities. We will provide practical coaching support and opportunities to take part in educational workshops and CPD.

Events & Fundraising:

Get involved with our award-winning events team and you'll be able to support us with events such as: Mental Health World Club, W12 Festival, Match Day Fan Zone, EFL Schools Tournaments, QPR Trust Sleepout, & many more

Your own passion / area of expertise:

We would love to hear how your own passion or experience may be able to support us as a Community Trust. This does not need to be 'football' related and we would welcome applications with a variety of different skill sets.
