What is the role?
As an Assistant Coach, you will support the Women’s First Team Head Coach in developing and preparing a Women’s First Team Squad capable of success in the Women’s Championship and Women’s Super League.
What will you be doing?
You will assist with the coaching of the Women’s First Team squad with the Head Coach, on and off the pitch. This will involve working with the full squad, smaller groups, and individuals, tactically and technically to improve players understanding of how we want to play. In addition, you will monitor and assess all players in the First Team Squad and Academy players with the First Team, in training and match performances and maintain all appropriate records using the First team platform for auditing processes. You will also be expected to ensure all First Team players have an Individual Player Development Plan and support delivery of these plans on and off the pitch.
Working with the coach responsible for Set Pieces, you will design and deliver a successful set piece philosophy. Moreover, you will collaborate with the Head Coach and Lead Analyst to scout opposition through live observations and through available platforms, producing opposition analysis reports as required. Where appropriate, you may also contribute to the recruitment of players through the Recruitment Manager and Head Coach.
