1. The Department
The Hospitality team are responsible for the sales and delivery for all matchday hospitality and premium matchday experiences along with adhoc Club events such as End of Season Awards Dinners and Play on the Pitch Experiences. This is an exciting time to join the team as we have expanded our range with over 15 areas and around 5,000 hospitality covers offering world-class, premium experiences. We are continuing to grow, aspiring to offer the best tiers and experiences in the Premier League.
2. The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality Operations Executive to join our team based at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. Levy are the Club’s catering and hospitality partner who are responsible for our food and beverage operation. The Hospitality Department sell the hospitality and work closely alongside Levy to ensure the delivery of our matchday experiences. This role will focus on matchday hospitality only and you will support the Senior Hospitality Team Manager in the delivery and management of the full operational process. You will also lead the Matchday operation for the Women Super League (WSL) fixtures at Villa Park.
You will liaise and communicate between the internal and external providers that support our matchday operation whilst looking at things from a customer perspective, ensuring our guest experience is best in class, for example touch points such as lanyards and gifts are in order. You will support and liaise with other departments regarding feedback and communication. This will be a busy role in a fast-paced environment requiring managing multiple projects.

3. The Person
You need to have experience of delivering operational hospitality and working and directing a team to deliver exceptional levels of customer service, ideally in the sporting industry. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and process whilst being able to think about guest experience. You also need to be empathetic, able to support and resolve any complaints or concerns as and when required. You will need to be organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic environment.
You will need to be available to work flexibly including both Men’s and Women’s First team matches, evenings and weekends. You will also need to have access to a vehicle and / or the ability to travel between our Club sites; Villa Park, London Office and Bodymoor Heath Training Ground.
