Primary Responsibilities

  • Head of the Local Baller League Team: Lead a dedicated team with support from the Baller League Global CEO.
  • Manage Baller League Operations: Oversee all facets of local operations, from conceptualization to implementation. Play a key role in creating and executing the company’s roadmap, taking into account audience feedback and requirements, and forming teams based on this roadmap.
  • Expand Business Opportunities: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to bolster Baller League's standing in the sports league sector
  • Develop and Implement Strategy: Formulate a strategic plan that aligns with Baller League Corporate’s vision and strategy, ensuring precise and efficient execution of all activities.
  • Oversee Financial Performance: Take full responsibility for the league, working closely with the Global CFO on forecasting, budgeting, and meeting financial goals.
  • Promote a Collaborative Culture: Foster an open and honest culture where teams are encouraged to collaborate on problem-solving, providing supportive leadership and mentorship to a diverse range of specialists.

Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Experience in the startup ecosystem, ideally having successfully scaled a small startup or responsible for a sport league in a C-level positio. You posses a proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Embrace and drive change while questioning the status quo.
  • Collaborative Nature: Humble and approachable team player with exceptional collaboration skills, always putting team objectives ahead of personal goals. After all we are a team sport.
  • Operational Expertise: Ability to transform the strategic plan into a practical, measurable, and achievable operational plan using available resources.
  • Hands-On Approach: Willingness to engage directly in tasks when necessary, with an autonomous and transparent approach to work.
  • Leadership Acumen: Strong leadership capabilities, able to establish strong connections and create a positive, motivating environment where teams can excel and challenge each other constructively. Proven experience in leading and managing multi-functional teams in diverse environments.
  • Extensive Experience: 10-12 years of business management experience, demonstrating the ability to meet business objectives. Must have experience in the sports and entertainment industry, preferably in e-sports.
