Job Overview: Flint Town United FC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Coach to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who loves football and is committed to making a positive impact in the local community. The role involves delivering high-quality coaching sessions, promoting health and well-being, and inspiring participants of all ages and abilities to engage with the sport.

Responsibilities:
As a Community Coach at Flint Town United FC, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive football coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
  • Foster a fun, safe, and positive environment for participants to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Support club initiatives to promote football within schools, community groups, and other local organisations.
  • Act as an ambassador for Flint Town United FC, upholding the club’s values and engaging with the community.
  • Assist in organising and running community events, tournaments, and outreach programs.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to young players, encouraging their personal and athletic growth.
  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding and health & safety protocols during all activities.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A recognised coaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children, young people, or community groups in a coaching or mentoring capacity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A passion for football and community engagement.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire participants of all abilities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, inclusion, and diversity principles.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one before starting.

Desirable:

  • Experience in delivering multi-sport or physical education sessions.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Knowledge of the local community and its needs.
