Balham FC Goalkeeper Coach

Balham FC are looking for enthusiastic and committed Goalkeeper Coaches to work with goalkeepers from teams across our Boys’ Foundation & Youth Development Phases and Girls section. This covers age groups from U8 to U18s.

As a Club we are all about long term player development and are proud to offer a player pathway from youth to adult football in both our Boys’ and Girls’ sections. To support this you will work closely with team coaches and section Leads on player progress and development of our goalkeepers.

Qualifications

• FA Level 1 in Coaching Goalkeepers or intention to complete the new National Goalkeeping Course.
• Current valid FA Safeguarding and First Aid certificates or intention to complete both.
• Enhanced DBS check will be made on behalf of the Club.

Capabilities

• Able and happy to commit to up to two training sessions a week in the Balham/Tooting/Streatham areas of SW London.
• A great communicator with kids, parents, existing Coaches and Club Officials.
• Ability to deliver fun and challenging sessions for players of varying ages.
  
  The role is voluntary but Coaches will be provided with kit, equipment, and support in gaining additional qualifications.
