These exciting tasks await you on our pitch
- Support the Head of International Cooperation and PR in developing and executing our global PR strategy
- Coordinate and manage several international PR agencies in target markets
- Organize and execute media activities in international target markets, including overseeing regular international media visits
- Develop and maintain media relationships across sports, business, and media sectors
- Handle international media requests and draft our English language press releases, arranging additional interviews and press opportunities with relevant media based on the organisation’s latest activities
- Collaborate with Bundesliga clubs to secure availability of players, coaches, and executives for international media
- Monitor global media outlets to keep DFL management informed of the latest news across the sports landscape
- Ensure the DFL is present at leading B2B sports events and conferences around the world
These are the skills you need to be in our starting eleven
- Studies: Business administration, sports management, journalism, or similar with a focus on marketing, media or international management
- Professional experience: 3-5 years in sports management/sports media, ideally international and/or related to soccer/the Bundesliga
- A deep knowledge and experience of media/public relations, ideally in an international environment
- Communication: Strong intercultural communication skills and negotiation skills
- Languages: Native English speaker, additional foreign languages an advantage
- Character: Strong commercial mindset, hands-on mentality, team player
