JOB TITLE: Camera Operator / Editor

 DEPARTMENT: Marketing

JOB FUNCTION: To oversee and manage all filming and editing and production equipment in addition to covering live games and features.

DIRECT REPORTS: N/A

LOCATION: CFC Training Ground & Stamford Bridge (as required)

CONTRACT: Five days per week including weekends as required. Permanent.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):

  • Primarily working with the Men’s Creative Producer and the CFC Men’s creative team, filming and editing a large variety of production assets in relation Chelsea Football.
  • Single camera BTS coverage (as required) of live games home and/or away
  • Oversee and manage all technical equipment required to produce and shoot and edit CFC video
  • Manage any additional filming requests across all projects including Partnerships, Sponsorships and Foundation
  • Filming training as required
  • Coverage of Premier League / European Leagues / Cup Competition & possibly WSLmatches - as required
  • Editing of post-match clips / daily training / Manager/Coach i/vs
  • Contribute creatively to original content visual direction and editing
  • Management of regular equipment status
  • Develop a strong working relationship with all stakeholders including team & club officials
  • Regular proposal of new styles and approaches to
  • Show an interest in and ability to execute dynamic filming and editing styles including social media and club

  • Consistently deliver a high standard of visual filming quality and creativity.
  • Be able to work across regular multiple projects at the same time and under time pressures.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

Qualifications:

  • Extensive technical knowledge of all elements involved with filming, editing and the equipment
  • Production lighting and sound
  • Comprehensive understanding of full video production
  • An ambitious attitude to deliver a premium content production across all
  • Able to regularly work weekends when required.
  • Able to travel internationally – current valid passport.
  • Current valid driver’s licence.

Experience:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in a relevant production
  • Extremely proficient knowledge of lighting and sound and editing technical requirements
  • Expertise with recognised organisational planning
  • Accomplished creative filming approach to sports and commercial
  • Successful multi-platform content examples, showing an understanding of digital and social video.
  • Clear examples of high-quality previous filming within a sporting
  • Experience of managing a successful organisational
