Job Description

Position Overview:
NCE is seeking a full time Regional Director to join our management structure and continue the rapidly expanding growth of NCE Programming.  This is a Business Development role and includes an aggressive benefits and bonuses package with opportunities for further professional growth including coaching license attendance and career advancement within the NCE organization.

Job Responsibilities:
In conjunction with NCE Soccer coaches, technical directors, players, and standards of play: 
  • Lead the implementation and management of the NCE Soccer’s Center of Excellence Program
  • Lead and support coaches in the general control, management, and conduct of COE players, ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct
  • Aid player development and motivation by providing positive and constructive feedback that is delivered in an appropriate method 
  • Demonstrate a willingness to further personal knowledge and development
  • Carry out responsibilities in accordance with NCE’s policies and all applicable laws, particularly regarding the safeguarding of youth/minor players
  • Emphasize NCE Soccer’s culture of discipline and excellence 
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Must possess a USSF B License or foreign equivalent
  • Previous experience coaching in an amateur, professional level, or other reputable development team
  • Previous experience as a director in an amateur, professional level, or other reputable development team
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive, cross-functional relationships with team
  • Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence
  • An understanding of the pressures and commitments required for youth players involved in high level youth soccer (or other elite youth sports development awareness)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when privy to sensitive information
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, performance-driven work environment
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including events that fall on nights and weekends
  • Ability to travel within Connecticut to Trumbull, East Windsor, and Oakdale
  • US Citizens or possess legal rights to work in the USA

Preferred Qualifications:
  • USSF A License or foreign equivalent 

Compensation:
Final compensation offer amounts are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications.
