Job Description

The key role of a Team Surrey Football Coach is to help us to support and deliver high-quality sport to students, but also to facilitate a positive environment for our athletes to thrive in.

As of the 2024/25 season, the Team Surrey Women’s Football club comprises of two BUCS Competitive teams and a development squad. This role will oversee the women’s football style of play throughout the whole club, ensuring that there are opportunities for performance players to thrive, and development players can aspire to play at the next level.

Key Responsibilities

-          Match Day Support:

o   As part of being a Team Surrey coach, it is expected that you will be available on Wednesday afternoons to support with the matchday squad in their respective BUCS Leagues including home and away matches.

-          Training (held at Surrey Sports Park):

o   As part of being a coach, you are expected to be available to coach the Team Surrey Club Sport sessions, and BUCS matches, and these are held at the following times:

§  Tuesday 18:00 – 20:00 (Training)

§  Wednesday: 12:00 – 16:30 (time will vary due to match KO time)

o   Any other sporadic times may be required, but this can be agreed and discussed with the student committee.
