Job Description

The role is highly guest focused and needs a friendly, organised person with a professional approach, excellent customer service skills, and a good eye for detail.

As Duty Manager you will be assisting the Hotel Manager with producing rotas, stock control, ordering, training of team members and inducting new team members.

Assisting the Hotel Manager with the daily running of the hotel, including front office and events, but to focus on food and beverage. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role, or with a food and beverage background.

Liaise with all departments to ensure communication of staffing, events, and daily business. Communicate any issues within the hotel either operational or guest related which may impact the business.

Have a flexible approach to work, be prepared to adapt and perform duties which may not fit your remit but where the business dictates a need for assistance to ensure service and standards are not compromised.

Shift work including weekends and bank holidays and a mixture of shifts, as and when required, based on 40 hours per week. Shift times are 8.00am - 3.00pm and 3.00pm - 10.00pm, with a few varying shifts in between.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
