Ticketing Sales & Service Internship

Job Description

Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League’s 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC began competing in MLS in April 2021 and played its first match at home on June 19, 2021, in the new, 100% privately financed, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium. After concluding its fourth season, Austin FC currently holds the longest active sellout streak in MLS. 

Austin FC is seeking an intern to join our Sales & Service Team from February 2025 through October 2025. 

In this internship, you will gain valuable exposure to the day-to-day business operations of a Sales & Service Team and will assist in match day preparation and other events. This internship is a great opportunity to advance your career and be a part of Austin’s only major league professional team. 

This position will be based in Austin, TX and the role will be in-person at Austin FC’s business office. Working hours will vary based on seasonal needs.

You Will:
·        Assist with day-to-day ticketing operations while building relationships with Waitlist Members to elevate fan experience; and
·        Support the Sales & Service Team on preparation for match day and other events; and
·        Assist the Sales/Service team with matchday requirements; and
·        Support Premium and General Season Ticket Membership events (evenings and weekends required); and
·        Work with the Sales & Service Team to provide a greater fan experience; and
·        Be a part of other special projects within the sales and service team; and
·        Organize and generate leads for the sales team.
 
You Have:
·        Time management skills
·        Familiarity with Microsoft Office and possess excellent written and oral communication skills
·        Customer service and/or hospitality experience; relationship building skills
·        Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new programs and systems
·        English and/or Spanish language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus. Additional languages – even better, but not required
