The Boys Football Development Manager will manage & develop the RDP’s U6-U16 programmes for boys across all of the RDP regions. The programmes are in place to provide accessible football delivery for boys who have been identified for the invitation only tiers. In each region the tiers will include a Player Development Centre programme (PDC) and an Elite Player Development Centre programme (EPDC). The role will involve the leadership, management, development and organisation of each project, ensuring line management of project coordinators and coaches. The Football Development Manager will be responsible for the recruitment of participants, development of the curriculum, training schedules, fixtures, tour programmes and experiences, ensuring that Norwich City FC themes are implemented and delivered with high quality, to ensure the individual progression of those on our courses. Other responsibilities include overseeing finance & budgets, organisation of staff CPD, quality assurance, implementing all health and safety aspects including risk assessments and monitoring participant progress.
As part of this role, a strong working relationship with the Club’s Academy is compulsory to ensure a direct link for boys that are excelling locally in the centres can be identified.
