First Team Performance Analyst

Full time Premier League Scout / Analyst

Job Description

The analyst will be expected to be a key part of the team and take up key responsibility's in the day to day teams preparation..  Keeping the coaching team up to date and informed, with extensive coding and databasing of training sessions.  Helping build individual development plans for players (in line with the Fulham playing philosophy), which will be reviewed at key intervals.  Maintaining and visualising data to help track team performance against key targets so first team staff remain well informed. 

There will also be match-day requirements to help support the teams pre-match preparation, the extensive in game coding process, and technical set up so key information is efficiently communicated between the analysts and the coaches in the high pressure match-day environment. 

There will be a need to travel with the team / on match-days when required. 

There will be numerous ad-hoc and project based requests and the successful candidate must be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines.     

Additionally a strong knowledge of how to use relevant analysis software, hardware and the ability to think creatively to improve processes and overcome issues will be of up-most importance.    

 

Responsibilities

Filming of daily training (potentially with the use of a drone) 

Daily Coding of training (detailed breakdown of practices for coach review) 

Databasing (extensive maintenance of our training databasing) 

Developing Live feedback processes for the coaches whist training is taking place 

Pre game match day set up utilising the Hawkeye networks and ensuring communication from analyst positions to bench ipads and changing rooms is working effectively. 

Experience utilising game, team and player data, ideally with some experience of Tableau to help with the visualisation and the effective presentation of key performance points.
