THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:

• Act as the contact person for all (non-FIFA tournaments and competitions) Football Infrastructure matters (main focus areas: natural, synthetic and hybrid turf pitches, technical centres, stadiums) 
• Create and deliver (centralised) supporting services provided by FIFA in the area of Football Infrastructure such as, but not limited to:
• Create templates and guidelines 
• Set-up of knowledge sharing database 
• Manage a pool of Football Infrastructure experts
• Conduct capacity development and education activities
• Manage, upon request of Member Associations, Artificial turf and floodlights projects
• Review applications submitted by Member Associations for specific projects in the category Football Infrastructure, ensuring adherence to the FIFA Forward Development Programme regulations
• Collect, assess and document all relevant information required for the draft process of the funding agreement for the specific project applied for by Member Associations
• Monitor the implementation and progress of specific projects related to Football Infrastructure

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

• Good written, verbal and visual communication 
• Well-balanced mentality between team player and self-reliant  
• Great ability to prioritize tasks and operate goal-oriented
• High attention to detail and punctuality
• Good ability to manage high pressure and stress 
• Good design thinking and being open minded
• A master or bachelor’s degree in either (or preferably both) construction/ engineering, (sports) business administration
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in either an international sports federation, in managing football infrastructure development or sports infrastructure industry   
• Full professional proficiency in English and at least 1 additional language: French or Spanish
• Proficiency in any other FIFA language (Spanish / German / Arabic / Portuguese / Russian) is an asset
• Proficient in Word / PowerPoint / Excel
• Willingness to travel
