Our Boys Academy Department has been awarded the prestigious category one status accolade, demonstrating that we provide the highest level of quality coaching, education, training and facilities for our youth football provision.
In order to continue to deliver our ambitious plans for nurturing, encouraging and developing talent at this level, we have an exciting opportunity for a Coach to join the team within our Foundation Phase.
2. The Role
The role will work within the Foundation Phase specific programme, assisting with the development of the 9-11s age groups which will include planning, preparing, organising, managing and evaluating all training sessions ensuring it aligns to the Academy Performance Plan.
As an Academy Coach, you will provide feedback to parents and players and attend information evenings as necessary. You will assist the Performance Analysis Team to ensure that recordings of games and footage feedback sessions take place on a regular basis, and work collaboratively with Medical and Sport Science staff in the management of injuries and sports science testing.
3. The Person
The successful candidate will be qualified to at least UEFA B Licence and FA Youth Award level. You will need a current FA Emergency First Aid in Football (EMFAIF) qualification and have demonstrable experience of planning, delivery and monitoring of elite football programmes. The successful candidate will need to have previously worked with Academy Level young players and be able to communicate in a clear and concise way. You will also need to be a confident user of technology platforms utilised for planning, delivery, and reflection.
A UEFA A Licence, a FA Advanced Youth Award, and an understanding of EPPP rules and regulations would be beneficial.
