THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:
  • Daily liquidity and cash management activities
    • Checking of bank account balances
    • Preparation of account transfers
  • Review and approval of payment runs
  • Reviewing payment requests in collaboration with FIFA Compliance to ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
  • Daily calculation and settlement of margin calls on open currency derivatives
  • Periodic settlement of expired investments and currency derivatives 
  • Administration of Treasury Management System 
    • Set up new user and bank relationship
    • Capture new investments and FX positions
    • Maintain the accounting rules
    • Troubleshooting in case of errors
  • Support month-end closing for all treasury related processes
    • ERP reconciliation (SAP)
    • IFRS 9 valuation of all investments and currency derivatives 
    • Hedge accounting application and documentation updates 
  • Preparation of the input data for the Global Custody reporting
  • General support in administration matters

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance
  • Treasury/cash management and treasury accounting experience is an advantage
  • Attention to detail, ability to learn quickly and to act with discretion when handling confidential information
  • Practical and process-oriented working profile with very high quality and efficiency
  • Keen sense of responsibility
  • Team player
  • Critical thinker
